March 25th, 2019
More than 200 people met outside the Serbian embassy in Prague on Sunday night to remember the bombing of Yugoslavia by NATO 20 years ago, with the speakers including former foreign minister Jan Kavan and MPs Jaroslav Foldyna (both Social Democrats, CSSD) and Vaclav Klaus Jr. The speakers condemned the NATO bombing that was supported by the then Czech cabinet of Milos Zeman, the former CSSD leader who is now president. In an interview with CTK last week, Zeman said the Czech approval of the NATO air strikes was a mistake.
