Prague High Court judge charged with influencing court decisions

Prague High Court judge Ivan Elischer and five other people were charged over influencing court verdicts on Tuesday, Prague Municipal State Attorney's Office spokesman Ales Cimbala has told CTK. Cimbala said Elischer was suspected of "influencing the decisions of the Prague High Court panel so that they met the demands of other charged persons." If his guilt is proven, Elischer may end up in prison for up to 12 years for bribe taking, abuse of power, favouritism and unauthorised access to a computer system.
