Prague asks EC to extend deadline for answer to audit on Babis

Prague has asked the European Commission (EC) to extend the deadline for its response to one of the first EC draft audit reports on PM Andrej Babis's (ANO) suspected conflict of interest, EC spokeswoman Mina Andreeva told reporters today. The deadline for reactions to the other EC preliminary report is September 23, she added. The Czech Regional Development Ministry announced a few days ago that it would ask the EC to extend the standard 30-day deadline for its answer to the first EC draft audit report on Babis.
