Poll: Smer-SD retains lead in polls

The senior ruling party Smer-SD has retained its lead over the opposition, and garnered 19.2 percent of the votes in a poll published by the AKO agency on Tuesday. A potential coalition of the extraparliamentary Progressive Slovakia and Together-Civic Democracy parties won 14.4 percent of the votes, while the opposition Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) had 12.9 percent, AKO said.
