Had a general election taken place between September 18-20, the governing Smer-SD party would have received 27.3 percent of the votes, TASR learnt from an AKO agency survey the results of which were released on Friday. Next came Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) with 16.1 percent, followed by the far-right People's Party Our Slovakia (LSNS) with 10.9 percent. The 'We Are Family' party came fourth with 9.2 percent, followed by the Slovak National Party (SNS) with 9 percent and OLaNO-NOVA closely behind on 8.9 percent. Two more parties, Most-Hid and the Christian Democrats (KDH), would also have made it into the House, with 7.3 and 5.1 percent, respectively.
