Polish-Ukrainian dialogue important - Senate speaker

Polish Senate (upper house) Speaker Stanislaw Karczewski said during his ongoing visit to Ukraine on Friday that he will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on August 31 in Warsaw. Karczewski paid a visit on Friday to the Chamber of Legion's Tradition in Kostiuchnowka in Ukraine, on the occasion of the anniversary of the World War I battle of Kostiuchnówka. The speaker added "that it is important for us and for the future to hold talks, Polish and Ukrainian history is very difficult. I am very pleased to see this place," he said.
