Preparations for a US visit by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki are under way, PM's aide Marek Suski has said, adding that Morawiecki may discuss potential US support for Poland's WWII reparations claim from Germany. The war reparations issue was discussed by Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz and his German counterpart, Sigmar Gabriel, in Berlin on Wednesday. The ministers agreed that the issue could be further discussed by experts. "Perhaps [the reparations issue] will be brought up [in the US]. We are prepared for it, we have certain calculations. We were the victims of war like our Jewish brothers and ... we should claim damages from the aggressor," Suski told a private TV channel.
