President Andrzej Duda has nominated three officers to the rank of general, having accepted the candidates submitted by Defence Minister Mariusz Błaszczak, the National Security Bureau (BBN) said on Wednesday. According to the BBN, Duda will officially hand out the appointments during a visit to the Multinational Division North East Headquarters in Elblag, northern Poland, on December 6. The president nominated Brig. Gen. Krzysztof Motacki, commander of the Multinational North-East Division to the rank of major general. The nominations also include two promotions to the rank of brigadier general, received by Col. Piotr Malinowski and Col. Dariusz Zuchowski.
