Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on Monday started a two-day visit to the Japanese capital by meeting with representatives of a major Japanese business association Nippon Keidanren. During his address to the participants in the event, Morawiecki declared that Poland is ready to welcome Japanese producers and investors and wants to develop economic cooperation between the two countries, including energy, electromobility and new technologies. Among the common challenges for Japan and Poland, he mentioned reforming the energy sector, which, he said, would have to take into account energy security and the interests of society.
