Poland's healthcare system is now better prepared to fight a possible second wave of coronavirus infections than in March, Deputy Health Minister Jozefa Szczurek-Zelazko said on Friday. "We have developed standards and procedures, we have a system of hospitals and wards dedicated to infectious diseases (...) we have ventilators (...) in the event of a second wave of the epidemic, it will certainly be easier for us to fight it and ensure the safety of Poles," she told a public broadcaster Polskie Radio 24.
