The Polish economy has been growing fast, and so have living standards, thanks to which Poland has been catching up with other OECD economies, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) said in a report on Monday. In order to maintain this trend, Poland should invest in raising professional qualifications, improving infrastructure and strengthening innovation potential, the OECD said in the report entitled the Economic Survey of Poland 2018. At the same time, OECD experts predict that Polish GDP growth will slow to 4.2 percent in 2018 from 4.6 percent in 2017. In 2019, it is expected to reach 3.7 percent.
