Polish dailies suffer 10.8 pct y/y decline in copy sales in June

Overall sales of national dailies fell by 10.8 percent year on year and by 4.75 pct month on month to 558,900 copies in June, according to a study by the Press Distribution Monitoring Union. The tabloid 'Fakt' retained its position as the most-read daily newspaper in Poland in June 2019, the study showed. The monthly sales of the newspaper, which is published by Axel Springer Polska, decreased by 11.74 percent year on year and by 5.91 percent month on month to 208,967 copies. Another tabloid, 'Super Express,' was number two with 111,072 copies sold in June, down 5.98 percent year on year and by 3.91 percent month on month.
