National Bank of Poland (NBP) survey shows Polish companies assessed their economic situation as good and stable in the Q4 of 2018, with the optimism ratings increasing to the highest level since 2009. The NBP's study "Fast monitoring. The analysis of the corporate sector" shows that improvements in mood were recorded in many industries including construction, trade and the industrial processing sector. "This optimism is also mirrored in the ESI indicator (Economic Sentiment Indicator - PAP) for Poland, where at the end of 2018 the ESI was placed slightly higher than the mid-value of the indicator for the 28 EU countries," the report reads.
