There is a chance for compromise on the long-term EU budget, Polish and Slovak Foreign Ministers, Jacek Czaputowicz and Miroslav Lajcak, said at a Friday press conference in Warsaw, pointing out it can only happen in the second half of 2019. The two ministers were asked about the chances of negotiating the multiannual financial framework that would be satisfactory for their countries after 2020. The EU budget for 2021-2027 was one of the topics of the EU summit held in Brussels since Thursday.
