An investigator has charged 76 people following Wednesday's (November 14) raid by the National Crime Agency's (NAKA) financial crime unit in Bratislava region, the police have written on a social network. The accused are reportedly part of a group that was unlawfully drawing VAT-related benefits and has caused damage to the state amounting to at least 1.5 million euros. Investigators think that the figure might grow to 7 million euros. "They could be sentenced to seven to 12 years in prison for cutting tax and insurance payments," said the police.
