Poles spent EUR 136.8 m on additional health insurance in first 3Qs

In the first three quarters of 2018, Poles spent PLN 586 million (EUR 136.8 million) on additional health insurance, up almost 19 percent on a year earlier, the Polish Insurance Association (PIU) reported on Tuesday. PIU statistics show that over 2.4 million people already have additional health cover. The number of insured people has grown over the course of the year by 20 percent
