Poles should be able to travel to US visa-free by 2020, says US ambassador

US ambassador to Poland Georgette Mosbacher told the Do Rzeczy weekly that Poles should be able to travel visa-free to the United States by the end of 2020. Mosbacher was asked by Do Rzeczy weekly news and political magazine about Poland's acceptance into US Visa Waiver programme. It was pointed out that in her last interview with the weekly she said that Poles would be able to travel visa-free to the US in 2019. In her response, Mosbacher confirmed that by the end of the fiscal year, that is, September 2019, all visa waiver requirements would be met and Poland would be nominated to enter the US Visa Waiver programme.
