Despite the fact that for the past 20 years there has been a ban on the incineration of garbage in Poland, the ban has been largely ignored, reports the Polish Smog Alarm (PAS). On Wednesday, representatives of the Polish Smog Alarm (PAS), Andrzej Guła and Anna Dworakowska, presented a report which shows that garbage can be burned, without occurring any penalties, in 80 percent of Polish municipalities.
