Poland will strive for strong EU budget - FM

Poland's goals are a strong European Union and hence an ambitious EU budget, Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz has said in an interview for public TV broadcaster TVP Info. Asked whether Poland would object if the European Union proposed solutions unfavorable for the region, Czaputowicz said that, "the countries of our region are also part of the European Union" and although different countries have different interests, Poland is "in a good position" as it wants a strong EU, a strong EU budget and is for maintaining such "traditional policies" as the Common Agricultural Policy and the Cohesion Fund.
