Polish President Andrzej Duda said in Warsaw on Monday he would want a representative of the European People's Party (EPP) to head the European Commission. At a joint press conference with Slovak President Zuzana Caputova, Duda said that "it is completely natural that a politician nominated by the EPP, which won the recent European elections, is a candidate for the EC head. This is for me a natural, democratic result reflecting the elections to the European Parliament."
