Poland will donate 50 million euros to the European Investment Bank (EIB) by the end of the year to support countries affected by the migration crisis, the Finance Ministry said on Tuesday. A ministry press release stated that Poland was the first EU country to sign a contract with the EIB regarding the Economic Resilience Initiative (ERI), and will donate EUR 50 million by the end of this year. According to the ministry, the size of the sum is unprecedented for Polish support of a migration-crisis initiative.
