February 20th, 2018
The Polish labour market will continue to suffer from a shortage of qualified workers in 2018, according to an "Occupation Barometer" study commissioned by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy. In 2018, it will still be difficult to hire qualified employees including truck drivers, welders, nurses, midwives and construction workers, according to the survey seeking to determine demand for employees in the current year. The report shows that in 2018, compared to previous years, the number of shortage occupations will increase. The most impacted sectors will be the construction, transport and forwarding, catering, processing and health-care sectors.
