Poland's ruling party Law and Justice (PiS) could have counted on 43.44 pct of votes if elections to the Polish parliament had been held on Sunday, Oct. 6, the latest survey by the Pollster researcher for the Super Express daily showed. This result would give the ruling party 234 seats and an absolute majority in the Sejm (lower house). The Civic Coalition (KO), an electoral alliance that integrates the major opposition party Civic Platform (PO), Nowoczesna and local-government activists, would get 28.47 percent support and 148 seats, according to the poll.
