Poland retail sales up 6.5 pc y/y in February - stats office

Poland's retail sales increased by an annual 6.5 percent and fell by 3.1 percent month on month in February, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) reported on Thursday. In real terms, sales growth stood at 5.6 percent year on year. Economists polled by PAP expected February's retail sales to grow by 7.1 percent year on year and fall by 2.9 percent month on month.
