Poland quits IMF's Flexible Credit Line - Finance Ministry

November 3rd, 2017

Poland's Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Mateusz Morawiecki with the Central Bank Governor have motioned to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to end, effective November 3, Poland's access to the precautionary Flexible Credit Line from the IMF, the finance ministry said on Friday. The ministry added that above all it was because of the stability of the Polish economy as well as record high revenues in the state budget which resulted from a tightening of the tax system.
