Poland January retail sales up - stats office

Poland's retail sales increased by 8.2 percent year on year and fell by 20.5 percent month on month in January 2018, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Tuesday. Economists polled by PAP expected January's retail sales to rise by 7.5 percent year on year and fall by 20.6 percent month on month. In real terms, January's retail sales grew by 7.7 percent year on year.
