Poland believes that Britain's expectations to postpone Brexit should be met, but if no agreement can be reached in London, a longer delay in the exit process may be necessary, Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs Jacek Czaputowicz has said in Luxembourg. "First of all, we're open to suggestions from the British side," Czaputowicz told reporters in Luxembourg, referring to the request that British Prime Minister Theresa May made on Friday that her country's exit from the EU should be postponed until June 30. On Monday, Czaputowicz spoke about Brexit with British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt on the sidelines of the meeting of foreign ministers of EU countries. "I assured him of Poland's support and openness in the matter. We have to give them more time. Perhaps it may lead to a longer delay. If the British have such expectations, I think we should meet them," he said.
