Poland housing starts up y/y in January - stats office

Housing starts in Poland grew by 24.5 percent year on year and rose by 14.4 percent month on month in January 2018, to 13,949 dwellings, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Monday. Housing completions in January 2018 fell by 11.7 percent year on year and 34.7 percent month on month to 13,561 dwellings, GUS reported. The number of housing construction permits issued in January grew by 38.7 percent year on year and by 8.1 percent month on month to 20,783.
