Poland's GDP growth will likely slow down to slightly less than 2 percent, but no recession is envisaged this year, President of the National Bank of Poland (NBP) Adam Glapinski told a Wednesday press conference. NBP's most pessimistic forecasts indicate Poland's GDP growth will not fall below ca. 1.6 - 1.7 percent in 2020, he said, adding that the slowdown is very serious, but not catastrophic.
