The Central Anti-Corruption Bureau (CBA) has detained Poland's former national police chief, Zbigniew M., CBA's spokesman Piotr Kaczorek told PAP on Wednesday, explaining that the suspect was charged with abuse of office. The news was first reported by the private broadcaster RMF FM and was later confirmed to PAP by Kaczorek. The former police chief will be charged with disclosing information on penal proceedings and planned police interventions. The same charges will be pressed against two former heads of CBA branches, according to the National Prosecutor's Office.
