"Poland's 2020 budget foresees no deficit," PM Mateusz Morawiecki said after a Tuesday government sitting that passed a draft of next year's budget, which foresees income and expenses balanced at PLN 429.5 billion (EUR 98.5 billion). The prime minister stressed during a press conference "for the first time since the beginning of the economic transformation there will be a balanced budget." Morawiecki declared that outlays on health service are planned to exceed 5 percent GDP while social spending is to exceed PLN 66 billion (EUR 15.14 billion).
