PM: 'We want to build a new elite'

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said on Thursday that the government wants to build a new elite and draw on the positives from post-1989 Poland while renewing Polish social and political thought. "We want to build a new elite," the PM said in a radio interview, but at the same time "draw on what was acceptable in post-1989 Poland, on what represented positive development, and we want to renew the Polish political, social thought in such a way that we can recognise the trends and directions of the future as well as possible."
