Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has been authorised to seek a compromise with the judiciary, Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz said on Friday, stressing the need for an agreement on judicial reforms, but not at the expense of their true purpose. On Wednesday, PM Morawiecki met with Justice Małgorzata Gersdorf, who maintains she continues in the role of the Supreme Court (SN) president despite a new law that has sent her and a number of other SN judges into retirement.
