Pellegrini to discuss investments with Abe

Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will discuss bolstering bilateral cooperation, mainly in the area of investments, but also science and technology, the press team of the Government's Office said on Tuesday. "Japan is one of the most significant investors in Slovakia, as there are more than 60 Japanese companies operating here, employing 13,000 people," the office said. "In February the agreement on economic partnership between Japan and the EU came into force, which gives Slovak exporters an opportunity to establish themselves on the Japanese market," it added.
