The UN Climate Change Conference (COP 25) in Madrid should give a clear signal that Europe wants to be a leader in climate protection, Slovak Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini said in a video on social media after a meeting of European Union representatives on Monday. "Today's climate summit should send a clear signal that Europe wants to be a leader in protecting our climate, an example for other countries," said Pellegrini, adding that he believes that the summit will be successful and will bring measures to help save the Earth. World leaders will discuss global measures related to climate change at the international conference.
