More than half (53 percent) of Slovakia's population would not allow opponents of parliamentary democracy to establish political parties, whereas around two fifths (37 percent) would let them do so, according to a survey conducted by the Focus agency on behalf the Public Affairs Institute (IVO). A total of 41 percent of the respondents would allow the opponents of parliamentary democracy to disseminate their views via the media, whereas 49 percent declared a negative stance on this.
