Over 73,000 foreigners working in Slovakia

The number of foreigners working in Slovakia had increased at the end of the first half of 2019, as there were 73,080 of them in total in late June, 990 more than in May and an increase of 15,082 year-on-year, the Labour, Social Affairs and the Family Centre (UPSVaR) reported on Thursday. More than 33,000 of the foreigners in Slovakia come from the EU and the European Economic Area (EEA). The most numerous groups from non-EU countries are Serbs, Ukrainians and Vietnamese.
