One-third of Czech households report lower income due to COVID-19

June 17th, 2020

One-third of Czech households saw their incomes fall since the beginning of the novel coronavirus pandemic between March and May, according to a poll conducted by the CVVM polling institute in May and sent to CTK today. A negative impact of the coronavirus pandemic was also felt by almost one-half of employees and three-quarters of entrepreneurs. Up to 5 percent of Czechs have found themselves in a situation where they are short of funds.
