The Opposition OLaNO party insists that Parliament should elect candidates for Constitutional Court judges with at least with 90 votes, i.e. with a constitutional majority, OLaNO leader Igor Matovic told a news conference held in Parliament on Friday, adding that the party has discussed the change with Justice Minister Gabor Gal (Most-Hid). "We came up with 30 proposals for change, including a key one - that a constitutional majority should be needed to elect candidates for constitutional judges," said Matovic, adding that the Venice Commission recommends a constitutional majority as well. Matovic stressed that the composition of Constitutional Court is very important.
