Official campaign prior to Slovak local elections ends with 48-hour moratorium

November 8th, 2018

The official campaign ahead of Saturday's local elections ended at 7am on Thursday, making way for a 48-hour campaign silence. During the next two days and throughout election day all activities aimed at promoting individual candidates for the posts of mayors and local councillors are banned. Publishing the results of public opinion polls has been banned for almost two weeks now.
