According to a Poland-wide study, 30,300 homeless were counted in Poland in 2018, 9 percent less than a year earlier, Family and Labour Minister Elzbieta Rafalska said on Friday. As the minister noted, around 83 percent of homeless people in Poland are men and 16 percent are women. In comparison with 2017, the number of homeless decreased by 3,070 people, or 9 percent. According to the data provided by the minister, the decline in the number of homeless women amounted to 500, while the number of men fell to 2,500.
