Number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Poland reaches 111,599

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Poland has increased since Wednesday by 4,280 new infections, a new daily record, and reached 111,599, the Ministry of Health said on Thursday morning. Another 76 people have died, also the highest daily total so far, bringing the death toll to 2,867. The ministry also reported that 4,138 people with confirmed coronavirus infection have been hospitalised, 171,251 are in quarantine and 22,747 are under sanitary-epidemiological supervision. So far, 76,490 people have recovered.
