Number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Poland reaches 48,789

The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Poland increased by 640 since Tuesday, and reached 48,789, the Ministry of Health said on Wednesday morning. Another eighteen people have died, bringing the death toll to 1,756. The ministry also reported that 1,898 people suspected of coronavirus infection have been hospitalised, 100,151 are under quarantine, 9,044 are under sanitary-epidemiological supervision. So far, 35,321 people have recovered.
