November 19th, 2018
Some 132,000 people took part in the events held within the Freedom Festival in Prague on Saturday, including about 10,000 Slovaks and 20,000 other foreigners, according to the organisers' estimates and the data from mobile networks, the festival's spokesman Petr Meskan told CTK today. He said this is considered the biggest celebration of November 17, a national holiday marking the beginning of the 1989 Velvet Revolution which ended the Communist era in the country, since the establishment of the independent Czech Republic in 1993.
