New Polish EC commissioner candidate meets EC President-elect

Poland's new candidate for EC commissioner Janusz Wojciechowski met for the first time on Tuesday with the EC President-elect, Ursula von der Leyen. "This was an initial conversation," Wojciechowski told PAP, adding that he expected more meetings with von der Leyen. "It is necessary to agree upon some priorities and upon what I am to say while presenting my programme. There will surely be more meetings before hearings (at the European parliament - PAP)," he said.
