New orders in industry drop by 4.8% in August

New orders in industry were worth 3.963 billion euros in August 2017, 4.8 percent less than a year before, the Statistics Office reported on Monday. After seasonal adjustments, new orders in industry recorded a month-on-month growth of 17.9 percent in August 2017. Since the beginning of 2017, the orders have increased by an annual 3.1 percent to 32.983 billion euros.
