New Czech ambassador Stropnicky takes post in Israel

Former Czech foreign minister Martin Stropnicky handed his credentials of the new Czech ambassador to Israeli President Reuven Rivlin on Thursday, the Czech embassy in Tel Aviv has announced. Rivlin said the fact that Stropnicky left a major post in the government to be Czech ambassador in Israel indicated that the relations between the two countries have been good.
