Negotiations on EU 2014-2020 budget may end in December - Polish EC official

Negotiations on the EU budget for 2014-2020 may end in December, but if it doesn't, new projects will be delayed, Polish EC Financial Programming and Budget Commissioner Janusz Lewandowski said on Friday. "The first attempt to adopt the budget will probably be made in June. And it is likely to fail. So negotiations will continue in the second half of the year and may end in December," he told the Sejm (lower house) committee. Negotiations will probably end in a reduced budget, he added.
