Slovakia's National Crime Agency (NAKA) has seized slips of paper with suspect messages sent from custody by businessman Marian K. and presented all of them to the supervising prosecutor, police spokesperson Denisa Baloghova said on Wednesday in reaction to an anonymous email received earlier in the day by several media outlets, including TASR, that accused the police of withholding some of the messages. "We absolutely deny that some evidence has been concealed; the messages have been presented [to the prosecutor] in full," said Baloghova. The anonymous writer claimed that Marian K. was attempting via the messages to suborn witnesses and contact certain influential figures from the judiciary and politics with a view to getting them to help him.
