Slovakia's National Crime Agency (NAKA), an elite body of the police force, is investigating three cases of possible electoral corruption with one and a half weeks to go before the general election, Police Corps spokesman Michal Slivka told TASR on Wednesday. The first case was reported in early February, when the police arrested a suspect after an attempt was made to pay a bribe of 1,000 euros that was allegedly designed to secure Roma votes. Meanwhile, legal entities cannot be prosecuted for electoral corruption.
